RIM should probably count its blessings. Its BlackBerry Storm may not have won Stephen Fry's approval, but at least it wasn't the recipient of a sweary Sunday afternoon Twitter tirade. That award goes to Sony and Microsoft.

It all started when Fry tried to hook up a new Sony Vaio running Vista he'd bought in New York to a Wi-Fi network.
"I hate Vista so much I want to cry. Bought a Vaio. The most useless $4k ever spent. It just will not join a sec-enabled network. HOW????", Fry wrote.
After further coercing, the Vaio still refused to talk to the network: "The network is there. I press to join it doesn't even ask for a password! It just can't join. How insultingly dreadful can software be?"
Seconds later, Fry was back: "I have nine macs!!!!!! I don't need another f*cking mac. I just want ONE ARSING PC that isn't complete SH*T".
A further five minutes of tinkering and: things still weren't working"Too late. It's going out the window. I can't put up with this sort of arse."
Eh, eh – calm down, calm down
A couple more curse-filled tweets and Fry was back, calmer and once again signing off his updates with a kiss: "How can I review certain PC only things if I don't have one? Anyway, I've calmed down now. Vista and PCs are so crap it's funny x".
The next day, Stephen Fry added a post to his Posterous account clarifying the issues he was having:
"For those who think I was being unfair on either Vista or Sony, I should explain that I wasn't trying to set up a new network, I wasn't doing anything even vaguely complicated," he wrote.
"What was so extraordinary in the year 2008 was that an expensive new piece of kit was unable to join a simple 40 bit WEP secured network. It saw the network, it agreed with me that it existed, I clicked to connect and it failed."
