UK games chart: Wii Fit looking healthy at the top

No stitches, pulled hamstrings, or signs of fatigue from Nintendo's mover and shaker

Wii Fit is still steaming ahead of the rest of the gaming world in terms of units sold this week.
But its continued presence at the top does come as a bit of a surprise, considering most people's New Year's Resolutions to get fit have largely faded into traditional February pessimism by now.

Sales ceasefire

Call of Duty: World at War is another non-mover this week, continuing to take cover at number two despite an 11% drop in sales from last week.

Magic sales sponge for FIFA '09

When it looked like FIFA '09 was losing its form after dropping places for two consecutive weeks, it looks like it's had a slurp of the sales energy drink with a 9% rise in units shooting out of shops.

Curious game drops in

With a name like something from a children's book, Professor Layton and the Curious Village on the DS rears his puzzle-cracking, murder-solving, treasure hunting head. A big release for the DS, but is it substantial enough to last another week in the top five?

Decked?

After a positive debut week which saw it drop in at number three, the wheels look like they've come off for Skate 2, which is already clinging on for dear life at number five. The die hard fans of the original have no doubt bought their copies by now, and it may have to pull off some sick tricks to convert the rest.

This week’s top 5:

1. Wii Fit (Nintendo): Another four weeks and it'll be Nintendo's longest serving No 1
2. Call of Duty: World at War (Activision): Entrenched in a top five battle since its release
3. FIFA 09 (EA Games): Passes and moves back up into a safe position
4. Professor Layton and the Curious Village (Nintendo): Fantasy full of riddles and brainteasers cracks the charts
5. Skate 2 (EA Games): Could this sk8er boi be saying see ya l8r boi next week?
