Bike spark
Joining the growing roster of electric vehicles comes quite possibly the coolest battery-powered run around we've seen, the Mission One electric motorcycle. The world's fastest electric production bike can hit 150mph, reach a 150 mile range on a single charge and looks positively electrifying. It will cost $69,000 and won't be available till 2010 but it's so much cooler than recycling.

The Boss gives us a rise
Bruce Springsteen's new album Working on a Dream has gone down a storm in the office. We saw him showing us all he's still got it with an amazing half-time performance at this year's Super Bowl. He undoubtedly got people dancing dancing in the dark, considering you had to stay up till two in the morning to see it.

Snow
If all the snow this week has passed you by unnoticed, then you either live in an extremely warm cave or you regularly travel to work on a Ski-Doo. Now, not everyone was a fan of this 'flake fall, but how can you complain when building a snowman with other euphoric members of the public? It was a victory for communications technology though with people (including us) still being able to do our jobs despite being at home in pyjamas.

Vitamin C
The common cold is doing its rounds once again. While we're seeing people in the office drop off like the cast of bad 80s war film, we're fighting back by taking handfuls and handfuls of vitamin C.

Deadly viral
To celebrate the upcoming release of THQ's Deadly Creatures on the Nintendo Wii, we were sent this viral video for the game. The game itself involves players to control either a scorpion or tarantula and make their way through the desert, encountering deadly foes. How did they capture the lifelikeness of the creatures you say? Easy. Motion capture.

Panny for paninis
Depending on the product, the review process can take all sorts of forms. When the Panasonic SDR-H80 camcorder arrived on our desks last week we put its claimed 70x optical zoom to the test by checking what's on the menu of the new cafe that has just opened across the road. From 30m away we were able to read out the menu with ease. Unfortunately it read: sandwiches £4.
